Daytrading
As a reminder we would like to offer a suggestion
on how to best utilize the Oexmaster.com's "financial
site for the sophisticated trader".
The key to daytrading is to be able to know when
to enter and when to exit a trade. Not all trades
should be entered on the one hand and on the other
hand some trades should be entered 'both feet first'.
The key to differentiating between a relatively riskless
trade and a more risky trade is by the amount of
homework you do. This is why we publish our commentary
daily before the opening bell and it would be in
the Trader's best interest to study it before the
market opens.
Here are some suggestions on the order of things
to look at when you enter Trader's Tales.
-
(1) Read our morning headlines as we usually give
a hint of what things Trader's will focus in on
for that trading day..
-
(2) Go to our slideshow charts for a quick review
of the 20 or so indices that we monitor during
each trading day to get an idea of whether or
not the market is in a Bullish or Bearish state..
-
(3) Return to our Trader's Tales and read the 5
columns that we post daily to get an overall
perspective on what to focus in on for that day.
-
(4) Memorize column 6 in Trader's Tales to see what our
if.. then.. parameters are for the OEX options
that we will be monitoring for that day and which
particular OEX options will be the most optimal
to trade for that day. Basically, if all 3 of our parameters hit...the trade will be near 100% successful. If 2 of 3 parameters hit then the trade will have a 66% probability of success and
if only 1 of 3 parameters are correct, then the trade will be a 50-50 tossup.
-
(5) Next be sure to click on our infamous Autorefresh
Live market charts and quotes to see how the
market is trading and to monitor your positions
-
(6) Finallly, you may use our intraday e-mails
as a guide as to what we are doing and as
a confirmation as to what you are trading also
